Description | Aeotec SmokeShield is a module with Z-Wave wireless communication protocol.
When SmokeShield is inserted into a specific Smoke detector (Ei650i/ Ei650iW), the Smoke detector becomes a Z-Wave smoke sensor, which can be used to detect the presence of smoke particles or whether a fire has occurred indoors. Once smoke or fire is detected, its buzzer will immediately emit a siren sound and report the smoke alarm notifications via Z-Wave wireless to your home gateway or associated devices. |
